Health without Borders

Das Projekt Health Without Borders ("Gesundheit ohne Grenzen") zielt darauf ab, die Gesundheitskompetenz junger Geflüchteten und Migrant*innen und marginalisierter Jugendlicher in einer inklusiven Lernperspektive zu verbessern und gleichzeitig eine Reihe sozialpädagogischer innovativer Ansätze für Jugendbetreuer*innen an vorderster Front zu fördern, um jungen Gefüchteten und Migrant*innen für die Bedeutung der Gesundheitskompetenz in ihrem täglichen Leben zu sensibilisieren.

The Inclusionary TOOLBOX is a practical collection of creative and artistic methods for youth workers, facilitators, social workers and other professionals working with young people, especially young people with fewer opportunities. It includes ready-to-use activities using music and movement, visual arts and theatre, as well as guidance on how to adapt them for different groups and create inclusive, safe and brave spaces. No artistic background is required to use the activities.

The "Inclusionary – Art for Social Inclusion" State-of-the-Art Report maps out how creative tools—like visual arts, theater, music, and dance—can help socially excluded young people build self-confidence, express themselves, and integrate into their communities. Based on surveys and focus groups with youth workers across five European countries, the report combines real-world case studies, common challenges, and practical guidelines to help educators use art for social inclusion.

The State-of-the-art report

Ressourcen für Jugendarbeiterinnen, Trainerinnen und andere Fachkräfte, die mit jungen Menschen arbeiten, die von Rassismus, geschlechtsspezifischer Diskriminierung oder anderen Formen von Ausgrenzung betroffen sind. Die vier Handbücher verbinden theoretische Grundlagen mit praktischen Aktivitäten und unterstützen dabei, über die psychologischen Auswirkungen von Rassismus und internalisierter Diskriminierung zu sprechen und diese Themen in der Jugendarbeit sensibel zu bearbeiten.

This manual looks at the structures of internalised racism, its physiological effects and what racialised youth can do to counteract it. Internalised racism; the acceptance, by the racialised individuals of the negative societal beliefs, racial stereotypes, racial prejudices and the racially discriminatory narratives about them.

Gendered Racism in Europe - Report

Under the Allegories on racism manifestation project, the project consortium aims to raise awareness of, and tackle the psychological effects of gendered racial discrimination, gendered racism and internalised racism. To inform ourselves, we started by conducting narrative research on the manifestation of gendered racism in European societies and the impact of the perceived gendered racism on the mental health of racialised and LGBTIQ+ youth. With this research report, we thus aim to ensure that placing racism within the human rights context of European societies takes a new path in public discourses.

This manual looks at the intersection of art and activism in counteracting racism in non-formal youth education and training. It focuses on the crucial role the intersection of art (paintings and photographs) and activism (social and digital) has played and continues to play in raising awareness of, and counteracting racism and racist narratives directed at racialised youth on the basis of their race and/or gender.
